Meta shuts VR studios in Reality Labs cuts
Meta is laying off about 10% of employees within its Reality Labs unit, a move expected to affect more than 1,000 people.
The cuts come just over four years after Facebook changed its name to Meta and went big on virtual reality and the Metaverse.
