YouTube TV and Paramount have reached a new agreement to keep Paramount's networks and content on the Google cable TV alternative.

Media giant Paramount Global's channels, including CBS and Nickelodeon, will be unavailable on YouTube TV starting Thursday after the two companies failed to reach a contract renewal, both parties said.

YouTube TV and Paramount have reached a long-term deal after negotiations became murky last week and the threat of channels like CBS, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, and MTV going dark on the Google-owned platform almost became a reality.
