New Delhi: The city witnessed light rain on Friday morning, accompanied by a dense layer of fog that reduced visibility across the city. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature recorded was 12 degrees Celsius, while the maximum is expected to be around 20 degrees Celsius.

The Regional Meteorology Centre, New Delhi, predicted light to moderate rain, thunderstorms, and shallow to moderate fog in the national capital.

Light rain in Delhi improved air quality, while dense fog disrupted visibility in Rajasthan and Meghalaya. Himachal Pradesh is under an orange alert for severe cold and snowfall. A western disturbance may bring rain and snow to northwest and central India.
