Brunson’s teammate Josh Hart wasted no time following the game to shout out his point guard on X, writing the Knicks star’s name in all caps with multiple shouting emojis. Hart finished the game with 13 points, 10 rebounds and four assists while shooting a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line.

Brunson had a potential game-winning shot rim out in the final seconds. If it had gone in, New York likely would have claimed a 102-100 win. Instead, it was pushed to overtime where the Knicks would eventually prevail.

The New York Knicks came back from a 20-point deficit to upset the Boston Celtics in overtime on Monday, but the win didn't have to be as hard as they made it. The Knicks would have saved some of the effort and overtime heroics if Jalen Brunson made what should've been the game-winning shot at the end of regulation.
