The North Dakota State University football team won its 10th FCS National Championship on Monday night. The Bison defeated top seeded Montana State 35-32 to win the 18th national title in program history.

Despite a heavy dose of turnover throughout their entire coaching staff and the emergence of Montana State and South Dakota State as serious competitors, the Bison are still the class of the FCS. This is their 10th national title since 2011. Since the FCS was created in 1978, no other school has won more than six.
