Just six months on from penning a contract extension at Ibrox, Philippe Clement has been sacked by Rangers. "What is the reason not to go for a longer story together?" asked Clement after committing to the Rangers job until 2028 this summer.

Barry Ferguson will take charge of the Rangers first-team for the rest of the season following the sacking of Philippe Clement.
