By his own admission, longtime MLB outfielder Jeff Francoeur learned from Hank Aaron and former manager Bobby Cox what it meant to represent the Atlanta Braves. In Francoeur’s eyes, that’s a lesson that All-Star outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. needs to learn—and quickly.

Earlier this week, Acuna called out Braves manager Brian Snitker for his handling of an incident where outfielder Jarred Kelenic didn't hustle on a ball hit to the outfield. Kelenic presumed the ball was leaving the park for a home run, but was thrown out at second base when it stayed in play as he rushed in an attempt to salvage a double.

Days after Acuña’s since-deleted post on X that criticized manager Brian Snitker over his handling of outfielder Jarred Kelenic, ex-MLBer Jeff Francoeur spoke on the topic on 680 The Fan on Tuesday about the situation and went as far as to say Acuña “buriedz a teammate.”
