By Neil J Kanatt (Reuters) -Uniform supplier UniFirst on Tuesday rebuffed again a takeover proposal from Cintas that valued the firm at $5.3 billion and said that it was confident of its strategy as a standalone company.

Cintas (CTAS) made a $5.1B offer to buy smaller uniform supplier UniFirst (UNF), but this bid has been rebuffed multiple times, according to

Cintas offered $275 per UniFirst share in cash, according to letters seen by The Wall Street Journal. The offer price is a more than 60% premium to where UniFirst shares ended trading Monday. UniFirst stock closed at $169.
