The decades-long mystery surrounding the murder of Tupac Shakur was seemingly on the verge of resolution with the 2023 arrest of reputed Southside Crip Duane “Keefe D” Davis. However, the trial is now facing a significant delay due to newly presented evidence that could alter the case’s trajectory.

The trial for Duane “Keffe D” Davis, who's alleged involvement in the murder of rap icon Tupac led to his 2023 arrest, has been delayed almost a year.

Duane "Keffe D" Davis is now set to stand trial in February 2026, nearly 30 years after the famed rapper was shot and killed in Las Vegas.

Attorneys for Duane “Keffe D” Davis filed a motion Friday in a Nevada court, stating that Davis’ defense has identified witnesses who can testify that he was not present at the shooting, despite his alleged self-implication in his memoir, “Compton Street Legend,” KSNV reported.

The trial for the shooting death of Tupac Shakur has been pushed back by almost a year following a request from the defence team.
