I did try searching before asking but there's so much info to sift through. It's more than likely right in front of my face. would appreciate a point in the right direction please.

Dec 2, 2024 · So I amended my application and it now shows my date as one-day after another person's application for the same callsign. Insult to injury, the FCC subsequently changed the last-action and cancel date for the targeted callsign to the correct date in which I initially applied. The FCC's systems and processes are nonsensical.

One's license is a privilege not a right, and the FCC isn't an agency that operates by criminal evidentiary rules- they find fact with those who violate their rules, and issue NOVs and NALs accordingly, and modify/suspend/revoke accordingly. Sue them if you don't like it.

Sep 13, 2019 · I am familiar with the FCC's Amateur radio call sign format - its easily found many places as to the format they use to issue Amateur call signs. But I'm curious about the GMRS format. I realize that it isn't broken up in the various classes as Ham radio is - like tech, general, and extra class.

Jan 12, 2008 · Since the FCC is unable to provide older Ham licenses, it's unlikely they could provide old CB licenses. If it's not in their database, they don't have the info. That is, if a ham wants an older license's info, it's gone. When you update your license, the FCC does not retain archives of 'old' info, only 'current' info.
