🚢 Freighter Friday Salute! We got a Captain’s Salute from the mighty Joyce L. VanEnkevort — a tugboat powerhouse paired with the self-unloading barge Great Lakes Trader. This iconic duo is a regular sight on the Great Lakes and a true workhorse of the iron ore and stone trade. 🔹 Built for Power & Precision Joyce L. VanEnkevort was built in 1998 by Bay Shipbuilding in Wisconsin. She’s 135 feet long, 50 feet wide, and powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines producing over 10,000 horsepower. S
