January 8, 1982— It was 39 years ago this month, on November 6th 1981, that The Cars released their fourth studio album Shake It Up. The album hit #9 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Charts, and the single ‘Shake It Up’ became The Cars first top 10 hit, reaching #2. The album also produced four other Top 40 hits— ‘Victim of Love,’ Think It Over, ‘Cruiser’ and Since You're Gone.
