Erving led the Sixers with 33 points while Doug Collins added 30 points for Philly. Bill Walton led the Blazers with 28 points and 20 rebounds. Portland’s Bill Walton, who was named Finals MVP, finished with 20 points, 23 rebounds, 8 blocks and 7 assists. Walton’s 20 defensive rebounds and 8 blocks both set or tied NBA Finals records.
