Lummi Nation School is celebrating hands-on cultural learning! Second and third-grade students recently learned the traditional practice of preparing and preserving salmon — a skill rooted in Lummi heritage. With guidance from culture teachers Mr. Kamkoff and Mrs. Joe, and support from Lummi Natural Resources, students worked together to clean and can salmon.
