All jokes aside, when we do use specialized hardware in a surgery, the operative reports created by us orthopedic surgeons can sound like a bunch of mumbo-jumbo. There are a lot of technical terms for devices such as femoral distractors, Midas Rex saws, and Bulldog clamps to name a few. Once you learn the lingo of orthopedics, the operative reports do sound like normal English (or whatever language you speak). It can just take quite a while to get that
