The UK Government will be testing the Emergency Alerts system on Sunday 7 September 2025 at 3pm. If your mobile phone or tablet is compatible, you’ll receive a test alert with a loud siren-like sound and vibration. You don’t need to take any action. While it’s recommended to keep alerts switched on for your safety, you can opt out if necessary.
