Activity at this dwindling pond during the first week of June include a grizzly sow and her cubs, an elk and moose sharing the water hole, a nighttime bison, and a coyote while an elk in the trees on the far shore keeps a watchful eye. #yukonwildlife | Yukon Wildlife Cams

This was a cool interaction. The coyote was actually hunting bison calves but every time he showed an interest in the calves the bison chased him so he pretended to be hunting ground squirrels - using it as an excuse to get closer to the bison. He never actually chased a ground squirrel but did get close to bison calves several times (unfortunately blocked by sage brush so I wasn’t able to capture that interaction). #Photography #wildlife #nature #wyoming #goodbull #coyote #yellowstone #bison #b
